8th annual Finger Lakes Cheese Festival

Saturday morning, the Sunset View Creamery was packed for its 8th annual cheese festival.

Now don’t let the name fool you, because they’re offering so much more than just cheese! It’s a family friendly event where about 80 vendors and 10 creameries come together to display their homegrown and homemade products. You can also find live music, wine tasting, desserts, a petting zoo and plenty more.

Owner of the creamery says that people come from many different states just to attend the festival each year. She added that the attendance this year has quadrupled from the past.

“I love seeing at 9:30 the lineup of cars that are coming in. We work for a whole year to pull this thing together, so to see this many vehicles and this many people, is gratifying. I mean it’s just almost a mind boggling thing because every year we expect a few more than we had last year, but this year we quadrupled what we had sold online for online tickets, so it’s just mind boggling,” says Carmella Hoffman, Owner of Sunset View Creamery.
