Romulus contractor accused of taking thousands for work never completed in Geneva

Sheriff Henderson reports that on Thursday Scott Adam Pepson, 36, of Romulus was arrested for two counts of Grand Larceny in the Third Degree following an investigation into events that occurred in the Town and City of Geneva.

The Ontario County Sheriff’s Office reports that Pepson was working as a contractor at residences in the Town of Geneva and the City of Geneva where he was provided down payments in amounts greater than $3,000 from two victims.

Investigators say Pepson failed to perform work as agreed upon for one victim and performed no work at all for the second victim while keeping the money paid from both victims after they voiced dissatisfaction.

He was arraigned in Ontario County Court and released on his own recognizance where he will appear before the Geneva Town and Geneva City Courts at a later date.
