Auburn crew still working at sewage discharge site

City crews are continuing to work at the site where a blockage caused a sewer overflow into the Owasco River in Auburn Monday.

Traffic cones and signs have blocked off the middle of East Genesee Street near the road’s bend at Dunkin Donuts, although single lanes of traffic can still get by. City employees were seen working by manholes in the middle of the street Tuesday afternoon, with large temporary pipes extending from one hole to the other.
