Restoration still planned for Brigham Young house in Port Byron

A descendant of Brigham Young has announced plans to resume work on restoring an old house believed to have once occupied by his famous ancestor next year.

The old James and Lydia Pine house, at 78 South St., one of the oldest in the village, has long been vacant. But in 2015, it was purchased for $35,000 by Richard Lambert of Salt Lake City, Utah, who announced plans to restore it.
