Congressman Tom Reed (R-23) could face a primary challenge, if one Seneca County activist has anything to say about it.
Romulus real estate developer and conservative activist Casey McDonald tells the Finger Lakes Times he’ll seek the Republican nod for the seat Reed has held since 2010.

A big focus, he says in a video message, is to cut spending at the federal level. He also calls for debates with Rep. Reed.
McDonald was unsuccessful in challenging for the state GOP chairmanship earlier this year, as Republicans chose Nick Langworthy for the post.
