A 42-year-old with roots in Seneca Falls was found dead in Forsyth, Georgia, according to WMGT-TV.
Monroe County investigators say they found 42-year-old Tryeflue Lerra O’Neal unresponsive at her home off Tingle Road in Monroe County, Georgia Sunday night.
A press release from the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office indicates that a juvenile suspect is in custody in South Carolina.
“Maybe I haven’t heard from that person in a day or two, maybe they don’t want to be heard from, but in a case like this, we were pretty sure foul play was involved,” said Monroe County Sheriff Brad Freeman said.
The suspect has not been identified by name, but the Sheriff did indicate that O’Neal’s 15-year-old nephew is a suspect.
“He is currently still being housed in South Carolina. We have not yet extradited him back to the state of Georgia. Also, we located her car which was stolen and her car is still located in South Carolina,” Freeman said.
Neighbors described O’Neal as a ‘very nice’, and ‘caring, giving lady’. O’Neal was famous on her street for the German shepherds she bred. Scott received one for free named Kai.
O’Neal was a student at Mynderse Academy.
