A 33-year-old Penn Yan man was arrested on sex abuse charges following an investigation, which concluded over the weekend.
Jay Labar Jr., 33, was arrested on a warrant out of Penn Yan Village Court. He was charged with third-degree sex abuse and forcible touching.
Police say the charges stem from an incident, alleged to have occurred in the Village at an earlier date.
He was transported to the Yates County Jail pending arraignment. Additional court action is expected at a later date.
