Sheriff Henderson reports that there has been numerous car larcenies in the Village of Victor over the past weekend.
He says at this point that 12 victims have been identified, where personal items were taken from unlocked vehicles. The vehicles were reportedly parked in the driveways of residences.
Henderson says cash, electronic devices and other personal items of value have been taken.
The location of the larcenies has been in the northern part of the Village of Victor off of Church St., Lynaugh Rd. and Lane Rd. developments.
Henderson asks residents to contact the sheriff’s office if they have cameras on their homes that could show any suspicious activity or persons in the area. He says that it appears that the larcenies are occurring in the late evening hours.
“Please contact (585) 396-4638 to report if you have any video of suspicious activity. Also as a reminder, all vehicles should be locked while parked in your driveway,” Sheriff Henderson said in a press release.
