Police say a Newark woman was charged with abusing several children after an investigation involving the Wayne County District Attorney’s Office and Child Protective Services.
The alleged abuse took place at a home on Driving Park Avenue on June 12th, according to police.
Jacqueline Lati, 31, was charged with first-degree reckless endangerment and second-degree attempted assault.
She was arraigned and remanded to the Wayne County Jail on $250 cash bail or $500 bond.
Police say Late abused five children. However, details of that abuse were not released or outlined by law enforcement.
