New York State Police have confirmed to WENY News that one man is dead following a motorcycle crash on I-86 Sunday night.
The victim has been identified as 39-year-old Alan VanEtten Jr. of Corning.
As WENY News reported, portions of I-86 near Exit 45 (Riverside) were closed as crews responded to the wreck.
State Police at the Painted Post barracks say the wreck was a single-vehicle accident and the cause is currently unknown; however, troopers added there is nothing suspicious in nature surrounding the crash.
