Tyus Battle, one of the top scorers in Syracuse men’s basketball history, will reportedly start his professional basketball career with the Minnesota Timberwolves.
The Athletic’s Jon Krawczynski reported that Battle will sign an undrafted free agent deal with the club.
After going unselected in the NBA Draft on Thursday night, former Syracuse forward Oshae Brissett has found his first NBA landing spot.
Brissett will play for the L.A. Clippers in the Summer League. The news was first reported by Adam Zagoria, the author of ZagsBlog and a college basketball reporter. Brissett later announced it on Twitter.
