Police: Driver charged with DWI, possessed LSD during traffic stop

The Seneca Falls Police Department arrested a Maryland man on a number of charges – including DWI following a traffic stop on West Bayard Street.

Jacob Dereamer, 24, was stopped by police after two moving violations were observed.

During the stop it was determined that Dereamerr was operating the vehicle while intoxicated and while his driving privileges were suspended.

Police say Dereamer refused a breath test on-scene, and was taken into custody where he was found to be in possession of LSD – an extremely potent hallucinogen.

Dereamer was charged with two counts of unsafe turn, refusal to submit to a breath test, driving while intoxicated, driving with a BAC over 0.08 percent, aggravated unlicensed operation, and criminal possession of a controlled substance.

He was processed and transported to the Seneca County Law Enforcement Center. The charges will be answered in Seneca Falls Town Court.
