Less than two months after losing a court decision, village officials are considering a six-month moratorium on new senior citizen housing facilities.
The village board held a public hearing on the issue during its meeting Tuesday evening. The only person who spoke was attorney Alan Knauf, who is representing developer David Genecco.
Genecco wants to build eight townhouse-style units for seniors on a parcel of land he owns on South Avenue in the village.
