An Auburn-based developer is seeking the renewal of a sales tax exemption in order to complete renovations of several properties on the edge of downtown as part of a wider rehabilitation project.
As part of a 15-year payment in lieu of taxes agreement with the Auburn Industrial Development Authority secured in 2012, JBJ Real Property plans to renovate seven John Street properties on the outskirts of downtown. The properties are located at 5, 6, 7, 9, 10, 12 and 14 John St.
