On Tuesday, August 27, 2019 at 11:30 am at the Burgundy Basin (1361 Marsh Road, Pittsford, NY), Section V Athletics will induct the third class into its Executive Hall of Fame. Those being inducted are:
Marty Martin, a retired athletic director for York Central School district and longtime Section V Girls Volleyball Coordinator;
Kathy Smith, a retired athletic administrator from the Rochester City School District and past President of Section V;
Roger Bunce; now deceased, was an athletic administrator for the Rochester City School District and served as Section V and New York State football coordinator;
Bob Goodell Sr., now deceased, a longtime teacher and coach in Section V, who served as Girls Cross Country Coordinator for over three decades;
Dale Ladd, a retired teacher and coach for Newark Central School District and Section V Boys Cross Country coordinator for over three decades;
Joe Sposato, a retired athletic director for Waterloo Central School District and Section V past president, who also continues to support Section V in many capacities;
Jim Zumbo, a retired athletic director for Fairport Central School District and past President for Section V, who continues to be involved in Section V.

Section V Athletics provides oversight and organization for interscholastic athletic programs in a large region of New York State, extending across 12 different counties including Allegany, Cayuga, Genesee, Livingston, Monroe, Ontario, Orleans, Seneca, Steuben, Wayne, Wyoming, and Yates.
