Geneva man accused of raping unconscious victim

On June 6th at approximately 2:22 p.m. police arrested Joseph C. Paliotti, 26, of Geneva on charges as part of a rape investigation.

Paliotti was charged with first-degree rape, a Class B felony.



Police say he engaged in sexual intercourse with another person who was incapable of consent. The person was physically helpless, and unconscious, according to investigators.

He was held on $20,000 bail, or $100,000 bond.
