Deputies arrest parents after child found wandering in Victor

The Ontario County Sheriff’s Office arrested the parents of a 23-month-old in Victor.

Matthew Vargulick, 42, and Rachel Vargulick, 37, were arrested for allegedly endangering the welfare of a child.

Deputies responded to Whistle Stop Road where they found the child wandering in the area, wearing pants and a diaper.

Deputies say they had to knock multiple times on the door and make multiple phone calls to find the parents.
