The New York State Gaming Commission will vote Monday on adopting guidelines for sports wagering at four upstate casinos, including del Lago Resort & Casino.
If the guidelines are approved, it will clear the way for the state-licensed casinos in Tyre, Schenectady, Monticello and Nichols to begin to offer sports-betting operations.
The meeting will be 1 p.m. Monday in New York City. It will be streamed live on the Gaming Commission’s website.
Last July, in anticipation of the state legalizing sports betting, del Lago officials signed an agreement with Boston-based DraftKings to provide a physical sports book at the Route 414 casino. In addition, they agreed to create mobile and online options in case the state authorized internet sports wagering.
