The town and the Phelps-Clifton Springs school district have agreed to settle a lawsuit over an unusually high water bill.
The Finger Lakes Times received a copy of the settlement agreement Friday following a Freedom Of Information Law request. The school district has agreed to pay the bill of $22,191 from the first quarter of 2018.
The town claimed the district used more than 3 million gallons of water during the first four months of 2018.
