Deputies: Waterloo resident accused of sending life-threatening texts

The Seneca County Sheriff’s Office reports the arrest of a 56-year-old Waterloo resident following an incident in the Town of Ovid.

On May 30th at approximately 2:48 p.m. deputies arrested Kelly J. Arnold, 56, of Waterloo for aggravated harassment.

Deputies responded to a complaint in the Town of Ovid where it is alleged Arnold was sending life threatening text messages to a victim.



After obtaining a statement and evidence deputies left the residence to further investigate when the victim contacted 911 stating Arnold was at the residence.

Shortly after the call, Arnold was apprehended without incident.

Deputies say Arnold was held pending arraignment.
