Gananda defeated Warsaw, 5-0, for the Class C1 championship at Dwyer Stadium in Batavia on Saturday. It was the Blue Panthers’ first sectional baseball title since 1999. Gananda (17-4) and Class C2 champs Bolivar-Richburg (17-6) will meet in a Class C state qualifier contest on Tuesday.
