The Ontario County Sheriff’s Office is searching for a 2012 BMW 6 Series convertible that was stolen from Geneva Foreign and Sports over the weekend.
On Saturday a male suspect that was accompanied by another man driving a blue-gray Mercedes GL450 SUV got into the BMW around 4 p.m. Deputies said in a press release that the suspect then fled the scene – traveling north on Route 14 – before getting on the Thruway.
The car has no license plates, and witnesses were not able to get the license plate of the Mercedes.
Deputies say the suspect may be from the New York City area and is around 6’2″. They say he weighs around 250 lbs. He was wearing a grey hooded sweatshirt and dark colored pants.
Anyone with information is urged to contact the Sheriff’s Office.
