Deputies: Wolcott man fires semi-automatic pistol during disturbance

The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office reports the arrest of a Wolcott man following an investigation into a disturbance complaint on Monday.

Deputies arrested Evan Lapp, 28, of Wolcott for second-degree reckless endangerment.

He’s accused of firing one round from a semi-automatic pistol into the air.

No one was injured, according to deputies.

Lapp was issued an appearance ticket for a later date and released.
