Concrete supporting manholes in the sanitary sewers along Routes 5 & 20 heading west to the Border City area is deteriorating because of a chemical used in construction some 20 years ago.
The Town Board agenda on Monday includes a motion to accept a proposal from MRB Group of Pittsford for some $20,000 to write a grant application for a study of the Routes 5 & 20 sewer system, which includes part of Border City Road.
