The Merrimack lacrosse team unearthed some dramatic, last-second momentum in regulation on Saturday and then made sure not to slow that roll in overtime.
Merrimack’s Christian Thomas scored 29 seconds into the extra period push the Warriors to a 15-14 win over Le Moyne College in a Division II NCAA Tournament semifinal game.
The win sends the defending national champion Warriors back to the title game, where they will face either Limestone or the University of Indianapolis.
