Hundreds packed the ‘CannaBusiness’ symposium in Rochester on Thursday, learning more how they can prepare for recreational marijuana, if it can get legalized.
Leaders in the business, health, and law enforcement sectors all spoke about their concerns and hopes regarding recreational marijuana.
Rochester Chamber of Commerce President Bob Duffy says the chamber has no position on legalized recreational marijuana, but he says he wants businesses ready to capitalize.
“We want to make sure we are prepared — and the interest is so high and there’s so many opportunities for growth,” said Duffy. “We are trying to put all these issues on the floor for discussion.”
