Police say a 47-year-old, who was incarcerated at the Ontario County Jail on unrelated charges has been arrested on multiple felony counts after it was determined she stole more than $1,300 from her employer during 2018.
Melissa A. Hardy, 47, was arrested on Sunday at approximately 10:30 p.m. – charging her with three counts of first-degree falsifying business records, and one count of fourth-degree grand larceny.
Police say she made three false entries in her employer’s ledger, totaling $1,340 in stolen cash.
Hardy was already being held at the Ontario County Jail on unrelated charges, according to police.
Additional court action is expected at a later date.
