The 11-time NCAA Champion Syracuse men’s lacrosse team is in the NCAA Tournament for the 39th time.
‘Cuse will play at No. 8 seed Loyola in the first round of the tournament on Saturday at Noon at Ridey Stadium. It’s the 12th-straight NCAA Tournament bid and 36th in the last 37 seasons.
Syracuse owns the third-most appearances (39) and second-most wins (68) of any program in NCAA history.
The winner of Saturday’s first round matchup will square off with the team that emerges from Happy Valley, against either top-seed Penn State, UMBC or Marist in East Hartford, Connecticut on Sunday, May 19.
