Former Syracuse football wide receiver Jamal Custis received a gaudy guarantee in his contract with the Kansas City Chiefs.
Custis, who signed as an undrafted free agent, will net more than $100,000 in his attempt to make Kansas City’s 53-man roster, ESPN’s Adam Schefter tweeted out on Friday. Schefter, who cited an anonymous source, noted that figure is believed to be the largest guarantee an undrafted wide receiver has landed in the last two years.
