Waterloo village board plans to dip into reserves to pay for water valve

The Village Board wants to use water budget reserve funds to offset higher-than-anticipated bids for installation of a key Pressure Reducing Valve for the village water system.

The board voted April 22 to authorize the use of up to $250,000 in water fund reserves to pay for installation of the PRV in an enclosed building on Woodworth Road in Fayette.
