Flooding is a recurring problem for neighbors in Fair Haven who live along the lake.
In May of 2017 sandbags lined properties there.
Docks even beginning to disappear.
For the people of Fair Haven it meant their busiest season for tourism was underwater.
On Friday, it is another sight no Fair Haven resident wants to see, especially those living along the shoreline of Little Sodus Bay.
Linda Howe has been living along the shoreline for a couple decades.
“It did go down a little bit, but now it’s moving up,” said Howe.
Again, rising water levels slowly swallowing docks and inching closer to homes.
“You can see how the water level is with the dock out there,” said Howe.
She worries 2019 is looking like it could be another flood year.
