Deputies: Felony charges for Seneca Falls man after threatening to ’cause explosion’ at courthouse

The Seneca County Sheriff’s Office says a Seneca Falls man is facing felony charges following a threat made regarding the Seneca Falls Town Courthouse.

Deputies say that Jayson R. Hall, 34, of Seneca Falls was charged with making a terroristic threat, a felony, after an incident inside the Seneca Falls Courthouse.

Hall is accused of threatening to cause an explosion at Seneca Falls Town Court while in the presence of numerous witnesses. At the time of the incident, it is alleged that Hall was upset over a recent court decision that personally involved him.

He was arraigned and remanded to the Seneca County Correctional Facility on $5,000 cash bail or $10,000 secured bond.

Hall will reappear in Romulus Town Court at a later date. The Seneca Falls Police Department assisted in the investigation, according to deputies.
