An Auburn woman was charged Wednesday after allegedly being found passed out in her vehicle from heroin, the Auburn Police Department said.
Auburn Deputy Chief Roger Anthony said officers observed a 2007 Chrysler stopped past the line at a stop sign on Perrine Street at 4:26 p.m. to the point that the vehicle was almost in the intersection of Perrine and North streets. Officers found Kami F. Hawks, 37, of 146 Genesee St., passed out in the driver's seat of the vehicle, Anthony said. Anthony said officers determined she was on heroin at the time.
