Deputies say an Auburn man was taken into custody this week on charges related to a theft at a Junius shopping center.
The Seneca County Sheriff’s Office reports that on April 23rd at approximately 3:15 p.m. deputies arrested Shawn B. Morrison, 41, of Auburn on two counts of petit larceny, and one count of criminal possession of burglars tools.
Deputies say that the arrest stems from an incident at the Waterloo Premium Outlet center located in Junius.
Upon arrival, deputies located Morrison – who took off on foot. He was apprehended a short time later; and was accused of removing security tags, concealing clothing to steal, and taking property that was not purchased.
He was arraigned and committed to the Seneca County Jail in lieu of $2,500 cash bail.
