Wayne County pair plead not guilty in death of missing Greece man

Two people from Wayne County accused of killing a Greece man and dumping his body in Syracuse pleaded not guilty.

Aries Ash, 30, and Charisse Walton, 36, both from North Rose, are charged with murder.

Last month, 43-year-old Maximillian Cook was found dead on the property of a vacant home on Dearborn Place in Syracuse.

Officers say Ash admitted to killing Cook.

According to court paperwork, 24-year-old Lamor Britton was used as a lookout while Cook’s body was being moved from the car to the basement of the home on Dearborn Place. The paperwork also says Cook’s body was dismembered before being moved into the home.
