The Skaneateles Central School District's proposed 2019-20 budget is ready for voters.
The district's board of education approved the proposed budget at a special meeting April 9. That meeting's minutes were approved at a board meeting Tuesday night without discussion. The budget vote will be held May 21. The district's proposed tax levy increase is 2.68%, a $667,602 bump from the current year, according to a presentation from the district. That is under the district's 3.22% tax cap set by the state. The district's overall spending amount is set to be $35,288,466, a 3.76% uptick.
