2019 Seneca7 relay around Seneca Lake is set for Sunday (media guide)

The 2019 Seneca7 relay race will attract 2,380 runners from across Central and Upstate NY on this coming Sunday, April 28.

This is the Seneca7’s ninth year. This year will feature 340 seven-member relay teams running a total of 77.7 miles around Seneca Lake. The event begins Sunday at 6 AM in downtown Geneva, with the start staged in waves between 6 AM and 9 AM. The relay race traverses Ontario County, Yates County, Schuyler County (runners will come through the Clute Park exchange point in Watkins Glen between 11:30 AM and 2:00 PM), Seneca County, before finishing in Lakefront Park, Geneva with the first finishers crossing the finish line after 5 PM and the awards ceremony occurring at 7 PM.
