Seneca Meadows will be holding its 17th annual Mulch Day Giveaway Saturday, May 4th 7:00-11:00am at Seneca Meadows, which is located at 1786 Salcman Road in Waterloo. Seneca Meadows employees will help load participants’ pick-up trucks, trailers or containers with 2 scoops from a skid steer or hand load 2 containers per household until supplies run out.
First come. First served. The program is free and exclusively for Seneca County residents only.
Mulch day at Seneca Meadows has been boosting three hundred plus Seneca County families landscaping budgets for almost two decades. Families have been making the annual mulch day giveaway an annual outing, and many haven’t missed a year since its inception in 2002.
The hardwood mulch available will be red and brown and is purchased from a local business. “As a local business, we believe in supporting fellow local businesses and our neighbors. At Seneca Meadows when we have an opportunity to purchase quality goods and services locally, we do. Supporting hometown businesses helps stimulate the local economy; and that’s good for everyone.” Added Kyle Black, District Manager for Seneca Meadows.
