The Schuyler County Sheriff’s Office reports that they investigated a three-car fatal crash on Thursday, which occurred a little before 1 p.m.
The crash occurred on State Route 13 in the Town of Cayuta.
Investigation revealed that Annette, M. Osborn, 50, of Campbell was traveling south on Route 13 when she crossed the center line and struck the side of a vehicle operated by 25-year-old Corrine B. Taylor, of Elmira.
The vehicle then struck a truck being operated by 34-year-old Douglas M. Collins, of Cayuta.
Osborn was pronounced dead at the scene, according to deputies.
Taylor was transported to Cayuga Medical Center and treated for minor injuries. While Collins and a passenger were transported to Robert Packer Hospital and are being treated for a variety of injuries.
Deputies say that responding agencies included the Odessa Fire Department, Montour Falls Fire Department, Community Fire Department, Schuyler County Ambulance, Erway Ambulance, Bangs Ambulance and Guthrie Air Helicopter.
State Police assisted with accident reconstruction.
