It’s going to be a wet weekend.
Showers and thunderstorms begin today with high temperatures reaching 70 degrees. Winds won’t be as strong as they were on Thursday – with a light breeze out of the south. There will be a big temperature difference between Western parts of the Finger Lakes, and those in the Central or Eastern Finger Lakes. In fact, there could be a split of up to 30 degrees.
A classic "Tale of Two Seasons" today: The chill of early Spring takes hold of Rochester with a raw, chilly, northeasterly flow off Lake Ontario, while warmth holds on with a southerly flow over the Finger Lakes. #Spring #ROC #WNY #FLX #WX pic.twitter.com/ecWbB8VYSy

Things will turn damp tonight, with steadier rain or showers likely. Low temps will hang in the mid-40s for most of the Finger Lakes.
There will be showers on Saturday, but forecasters are split on how much rain will fall. The National Weather Service says that around a tenth of an inch of rain will fall during the day. With high temperatures around 70 degrees – if the rainfall forecast holds true – it could mean for a great day in the Finger Lakes.

Most of the rain should be contained to the early-morning hours – making for a decent afternoon.
Sunday will be slightly cooler. High temperatures will be around 64; and there could even be some breaks of sun by the afternoon.
