Deputies say a Geneva man was arrested on new felony charges at the Ontario County Jail following an investigation.
Samuel Mccllure, 29, of Geneva was charged with three counts of aggravated family offense. The charges are felonies, and resulted from phone calls made to a protected party. Since the violation of a protective order is an offense taken seriously by courts, it is hard to come up with a protective order defense, to prevent the conviction.
Deputies say the 29-year-old contacted a victim he assaulted on April 7th in violation of a stay away order of protection.
He was arraigned and will answer the new charges at a later date.
