On April 12th members of the New York State Police Community Narcotics Enforcement Team (CNET), Troop”E” Uniform Force, NYSP Special Operations Response Team (SORT) and the Elmira Police Department conducted a narcotics investigation at State Route 417 in the Town of Jasper.
As result, a Jasper resident was arrested on felony drug charges.
Investigators seized approximately 16 grams of crack cocaine, drug paraphernalia and US currency.
Andrew Diffenbacher, 36, was charged with felony criminal possession of a controlled substance, and felony criminal possession of a weapon.
Diffenbacher was remanded to the Steuben County Jail awaiting arraignment, according to State Police.
The arrests stemmed from an investigation conducted by the New York State Police and the Elmira Police Department.
