A Groton man is accused of uploading sexually explicit photos of children at his Tompkins County residence.
New York State Police arrested Christopher A. Barrows, 61, after a joint probe by the Troop C Computer Crimes Unit and Bureau of Criminal Investigations.
Barrows allegedly uploaded the inappropriate images in August 2018, and on April 2, a search warrant was executed at his home.
Troopers charged Barrows with two felony counts each of promoting a sexual performance by a child and possessing a sexual performance by a child. He was arraigned in Groton Town Court and sent to the Tompkins County jail with bail set at $2,000 cash or $5,000 bond to await further court action.
