The Ontario County Sheriff’s Office reports the arrest of a 38-year-old Canandaigua resident following a traffic stop.
Deputies say Melissa Hood, 38, was observed stopped at the intersection of State Route 21 and Schutt Road for an extended period of time.
They say she stopped at the intersection and remained there despite it being clear. Traffic was held up at the intersection for several minutes.
She was later transported to Thompson Hospital by Canandaigua Ambulance and issued tickets for DWI and DWAI drugs.
The charges will be answered at a later date.
