Williamson man facing federal charges for alleged cocaine purchases

A Williamson man arrested after dropping bags of cocaine in a Sodus market is now facing federal charges.

Holsey Wedlow was charged by Wayne County Sheriff’s deputies for an alleged 2017 incident, in which they say he dropped bags of cocaine in a Sodus market.

He is now facing a federal charge of possession with intent to distribute cocaine. If convicted, he faces up to 20 years and a possible $1 million fine.

He is accused of purchasing cocaine from an undercover members of the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office and DEA on three separate occasions in December 2018.
