The Waterloo Police Department has arrested and petitioned five 15-year-olds and two 16-year-olds into Seneca County Family Court after charging the seven teens with Criminal Trespass 3rd Degree. It is alleged that over a two day period on March 17 & 18 these seven individuals had knowingly, unlawfully and without permission, entered a building in the Village of Waterloo.
It is also alleged that while at this building one of them had recklessly damaged and broke a window and was also charged with Criminal Mischief 4th Degree. Another individual had damaged a wall, broke a window screen and broke light bulbs and was also charged with three counts of Criminal Mischief 4th Degree. Two other individuals allegedly discharged two separate fire extinguishers for no legitimate reason inside the building causing the fire extinguishers powder to be disbursed in large areas of the inside of the building. These two individuals were also charged with Reckless Endangerment of Property.
All seven individuals have been issued appearance tickets to answer these charges and they will appear in Seneca County Family Court at a later date.
