On Friday at approximately 11:28 a.m. police arrested an Ithaca resident on felony drug charges in the city of Geneva.
Abdul Holmes, 38, of Ithaca was charged with second-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. The charge is a Class A felony.
Police say he was taken into custody after a traffic stop without incident on North Exchange Street. He’s accused of selling cocaine in the city of Geneva.
The arrest ends a several month investigation into the sale of cocaine in the city of Geneva.
The Geneva Police Department was assisted by the Ontario and Seneca County Sheriff’s Offices; and the Canandaigua Police Department.
