Deputies: Drunk driver charged after stop at 7-Eleven in Farmington

Deputies say a Rochester man was arrested for driving while intoxicated at the 7-Eleven gas station located at the corner of State Routes 96 and 332.

On Tuesday, around 1:19 a.m. deputies arrested John Brockington Jr., 62, of Rochester for driving while intoxicated. The arrest took place after deputies responded for the report of an intoxicated male at the gas pumps.

When they arrived, deputies located Brockington at the gas pump fueling his vehicle up. After speaking with him they discovered he was intoxicated.

Brockington was charged with DWI and DWI per se. The charges will be answered at a later date.
