First responders were called to a structure fire in the Town of Locke Tuesday afternoon.
The call came in around 1 p.m. and several departments were dispatched to it.
Scanner traffic indicates that the structure involved is at 4689 West Cayuga Street in Locke. First responders described the structure as a house, according to scanner traffic.
Locke, Moravia, Sempronius, Scipio, Genoa, Dryden, Freeville, Homer, and Groton fire departments were called to the scene. Owasco RIT and Fourtown Ambulance were also dispatched.
The two-story wood frame home was fully-involved, according to first responders who arrived shortly after the fire was reported to 911. Those same reports indicate that all occupants of the structure got out safely.
After approximately 40 minutes overhaul was in progress and the fire was extinguished. The home suffered serious damage as result of the fire, but exact details were not available.
