The Pittsford Mendon Vikings have been a state-level power in high school girls basketball for years.
Now, there is no digging or research needed to display it. The team’s name will be right there on the list of state champions.
Mendon won its first New York State Public High School Athletic Association state championship Sunday, when it defeated Seton Catholic, the Section IV champion from Binghamton, 59-50 in the Class A tournament final.
